PHOENIX RISING. The phoenix, is a mythical sacred fire bird that can be found in the mythologies of the Arabian, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Chinese, Indians and (according to Sanchuniathon) Phoenicians/Canaanites. It is described as a bird with a colorful plumage and a tail of gold and scarlet. It has a 500 to 1000 year life-cycle, near the end of which it builds itself a nest of twigs that then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again. The new phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self. In some stories, the new phoenix embalms the ashes of its old self. It is said that the bird's cry is that of a beautiful song. The Phoenix's ability to be reborn from its own ashes implies that it is immortal, though in some stories the new Phoenix is merely the offspring of the older one. In very few stories they are able to change into people.” –Wikipedia. In short, a phoenix rising in many mythological meanings throughout many ancient spiritual traditions is that a new, more vibrant offspring of the original phoenix births out of the ashes of the older one. If you look in other ancient indigenous traditions around the world, you’d see many have the same spiritual symbols that represent similar meanings. These symbols are universal and not given to any “chosen” culture. Many ancient cultures have been separated by geography for a long time and when faced with re-connecting to each other, many have struggled with change and adaptation due to egoistic pride and stubbornness. It’s no coincident that many ancient indigenous cultures around the world that was separated by geography still use the same symbols in artwork such as the phoenix rising showing that divine, universal consciousness tried to deliver the same messages throughout. It is human nature to use anything to separate ourselves from others through demonizing the rest. There has never and will never be anything loving about such lower level behaviors. Please try to be above such lower level nature. Please try not to hang yourself up on semantics of lower vibrations of separation and see the greater picture in order to raise your vibrations.
